     Title: BPKA Affiliation

After many an email, the Medway Flyers are now affiliated with the BPKA. This means that we are included on their insurance, so as well as all of our members having their own BPKA insurance for personal cases, we as a club, are also insured.

If we were to hold an event, (quite likely from the response we received at this years 'Kites Over Capstone Festival') the individual insurance that we have would not cover us, being affiliated with the BPKA means that we are covered in the unlikely event of an accident. There are lots of legalities to what is and what is not covered during an event. The committee members will run through these, when the time comes, to those who want or indeed, may need to know.

Being affiliated also means that our name will be on the BPKA site with links to our own site. Another way for people to find out about us.
